Year 6 Teacher – The Role

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 national curriculum
Support pupils in preparation for end of Key Stage 2 SATs
Create a focused, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support pupil achievement
Work collaboratively with colleagues across Upper KS2

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
Experience teaching in Upper KS2 (preferred but not essential for ECTs)
A proactive, organised, and engaging teaching style
Ability to support pupils through SATs preparation
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
