Young People’s Support Worker – Supported Living Llandrindod Wells Full-time / Part-time / Bank (including evenings & weekends) /Temp to perm Shifts : 09.30 - 11pm - sleep - 08.00am - 09.30am Are you passionate about helping young people build independence and confidence? We are recruiting Support Workers to join a supported living project for young people aged 16–25 in Llandrindod Wells. You’ll support young people who may have experienced homelessness, family breakdown or other challenges, helping them move towards independent adulthood. Your Role: * Support young people to develop independent living skills (cooking, budgeting, tenancy management) * Provide emotional support and promote wellbeing * Encourage access to education, training and employment * Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures * Act as a positive role model while maintaining professional boundaries We’re Looking For: * A caring, resilient and non-judgmental approach * Strong communication skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Flexibility to work shifts * Experience in youth work, housing or care (desirable but not essential – full training provided) What We Offer: * Competitive hourly rate * Ongoing training & development * Supportive management * Career progression opportunities * Pension & paid annual leave Enhanced DBS required.
