We are currently recruiting for dedicated and experienced SEN Tutors to provide 1:1 support to students in the Croydon area. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs.
Location: Croydon
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Flexible (part-time and full-time available)
Pay: £30-£35 per hour (dependent on experience)
The Role:
Deliver tailored 1:1 tuition sessions to students with SEN
Adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs
Build strong, supportive relationships to promote engagement and confidence
Work closely with families, schools, and external professionals where requiredRequirements:
PGCE or QTS is essential (or a UK recognised teaching qualification)
Experience working with students with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH)
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
