We’re working with a supportive primary school in Salford who are looking to appoint a dedicated 1:1 Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to work closely with a pupil who requires additional support with behaviour and emotional regulation.

The Role

Providing 1:1 support for a pupil throughout the school day
Supporting behaviour management and emotional regulation
Building a strong, trusting relationship with the pupil
Helping the child stay engaged and access learning
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
Promoting a calm, structured and positive environment

✅ About You

Experience supporting children with behavioural needs / SEMH
Calm, resilient and confident approach
Able to act as a positive role model
Strong behaviour management skills
Experience in schools, youth work, care or similar roles desirable
DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
