Application / Software Engineer (Remote)

Our client is seeking an Application/Software Engineer to play a key role in end-to-end delivery—from shaping requirements and modelling data structures to implementing workflows, integrations, and user-facing features.

Key responsibilities as the Application / Software Engineer:

* Develop applications across workflows, integrations, and data layers.

* Design clean, reusable solutions using strong OOP principles.

* Own data modelling, schema design, and relational database architecture.

* Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable systems.

Essential skills & experience required as the Application / Software Engineer:

* Experience in low-code, web, or hybrid development.

* Strong OOP and data modelling fundamentals.

* Solid understanding of relational databases (SQL).

* Ability to build solutions with scalability and maintainability in mind.

Desirable skills required as the Application / Software Engineer:

* Experience with low-code platforms (Netcall, Mendix, OutSystems, Appian).

* Familiarity with integrations, event-driven systems, or modern JavaScript frameworks.
