Apply NowWe are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative to join a well-established electronics manufacturing company based in Chatham, Kent.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has excellent attention to detail, good manual dexterity and enjoys practical, hands-on work.
Location: Chatham, Kent
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: 39 hours per week
Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 4:45pm & Friday: 8:00am – 2:00pm
This is predominantly seated bench work, involving the handling and assembly of small electronic components.
Duties:
* Operating crimping machines.
* Gluing and assembling small components.
* Screwing and fitting components together.
* Carrying out detailed bench assembly work.
* Maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy throughout the production process.
* This is predominantly seated bench work, involving the handling and assembly of small electronic components.
Skills/Experience:
* Very good eyesight is essential due to the detailed nature of the work.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
* Able to work carefully and accurately.
* Previous assembly or manufacturing experience would be advantageous.
* Any previous soldering experience would be highly beneficial, but is not essential.
* Working with PCB assemblies advantageous.
