Assistant Quantity Surveyor Location: 15 minutes outside Cheltenham Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 A specialist subcontractor based just outside Cheltenham is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early career quantity surveyor looking to develop within a supportive and well-established subcontracting business. The successful candidate will assist with the commercial management of projects, supporting senior members of the commercial team while gaining hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Assisting with the preparation of cost estimates and budgets Supporting the preparation and submission of interim valuations and final accounts Assisting with subcontractor procurement and package management Monitoring project costs and reporting on variations Supporting with contract administration and documentation Liaising with project teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved Requirements Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline Strong numerical and analytical skills Good communication and organisational abilities A proactive attitude and willingness to learn Full UK driving licence preferred due to location This role offers the opportunity to join a stable specialist subcontractor where you will gain valuable experience and develop your career within the commercial team
