This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to develop within a supportive commercial environment, working across a varied portfolio of projects including commercial, residential and industrial schemes.
The successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will support senior commercial staff across the full project lifecycle, gaining exposure to both pre- and post-contract duties. This Assistant Quantity Surveyor role offers strong career progression and hands-on experience, making it ideal for an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking to build a long-term career.

The Role
* Assisting with cost planning, budgeting and feasibility studies
* Supporting procurement processes, tender preparation and analysis
* Assisting in the administration of contracts (primarily JCT)
* Monitoring project costs, variations and change control
* Supporting valuations, interim payments and final accounts
* Preparing cost reports and financial updates
* Working closely with project teams and stakeholders to support successful delivery
The Assistant Quantity Surveyor?
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
* Previous experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or in a similar role
* Understanding of JCT contracts and commercial processes
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Good communication and organisational ability
* Ambition to progress towards chartership (RICS or similar)
