Business Development Manager – Infrastructure / Technology Solutions Location: UK (with travel) Onesite 1 day a month A well-established organisation operating within the infrastructure and technology solutions sector is looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to support its continued commercial growth. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional to play a key part in expanding market reach, developing new client relationships, and contributing to long-term business development strategy within a growing and innovative business environment. The Role The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing relationships with clients and partners, and driving revenue growth across a specialist product and solutions portfolio. Key Responsibilities Business Development * Identify and pursue new business opportunities within relevant infrastructure and commercial markets. * Proactively approach prospective clients and introduce the organisation’s solutions and capabilities. Relationship Management * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders. * Develop long-term partnerships that support sustained business growth. Strategic Sales Activity * Contribute to the development and implementation of business development strategies aligned with company objectives. * Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification through to negotiation and deal completion. Internal Collaboration * Work closely with internal teams including marketing, technical specialists, and senior leadership to support successful project delivery and commercial outcomes. Reporting & Pipeline Management * Maintain accurate records of business development activities, opportunities, and forecasts. * Provide regular updates to senior management on sales performance and pipeline development. Candidate Profile * Proven experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles. * Strong ability to identify opportunities, develop client relationships, and deliver commercial results. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills. * Commercially minded with a strategic and proactive approach to sales. * Self-motivated and target driven with the ability to work independently.
