Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and informative Business Studies lessons across KS3 and KS4. Plan lessons that encourage analytical thinking, enterprise skills, and real‑life business understanding. Assess and track student progress, providing constructive, personalised feedback. Maintain a purposeful and well‑organised classroom environment. Contribute to curriculum planning, department initiatives, and broader school activities. Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance teaching outcomes. Essential Criteria Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience teaching Business Studies at secondary level. Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver creative, interactive lessons. Effective behaviour management and strong communication skills. Commitment to inclusive practice and raising student achievement. Desirable Understanding of Business Studies exam board specifications such as AQA, OCR, or Edexcel. Willingness to support extra‑curricular or enrichment activities. A reflective and proactive approach to professional development.
