We're looking for a proactive process and formulation Chemist, to act as the vital link between Research & Development and Production. In this role, you will support the smooth transition of new formulations into production, working closely with blending teams to ensure efficient scale-up, continuous improvement, and right‑first‑time results.

Description

Develop and formulate new products in line with customer and market requirements.
Conduct research and testing to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production and quality control, to optimise formulations.
Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation for internal and external use.
Monitor and evaluate raw materials to ensure consistency in product performance.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements.
Ensure all laboratory activities adhere to safety and regulatory guidelines.
Support troubleshooting efforts related to product performance or manufacturing challenges.Profile

A successful Chemist should have:

A degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience within the FMCG industry, particularly in product development or quality assurance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in laboratory techniques and equipment.
A keen attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
