Vetro Recruitment is seeking a Children's Residential Support Worker for a specialist residential setting in Tewkesbury. This is an opportunity to make a real difference for children and young people, supporting daily routines, promoting independence, and helping them feel safe, valued, and supported.
Key Responsibilities
* Support children and young people with daily activities and interests
* Promote independence and overall wellbeing of young residents
* Attend weekends away, holidays, and trips with the children, supporting enriching activities and outings
* Ensure the safety and protection of children by following care plans and agreed guidelines
* Provide emotional and practical support to young people
* Support behaviour management and minimise incidents of challenging behaviour
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of care plans, safety procedures, and relevant documentation
What We’re Looking For
* A genuine desire to create positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people
* Empathetic, caring, and resilient approach
* At least 6 months’ experience working with children or within a similar social care setting
* Valid UK Driving Licence
* Current Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
* Right to work in the UK

Salary
