Apply NowLooking for a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team, delivering steel framing systems and associated materials to customers and construction sites across the UK.
You’ll play an important role in ensuring deliveries arrive safely and on time, representing the company professionally and working closely with our operations team.
Your responsibilities
*
Deliver SFS products and associated materials nationwide.
*
Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
*
Ensure loads are secure and assist with safe loading and unloading where required.
*
Follow site delivery procedures and health and safety requirements.
*
Complete delivery paperwork and obtain proof of delivery.
*
Keep the operations team updated on delivery progress, delays or issues.
*
Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle.
*
Follow drivers’ hours and tachograph requirements.
What we’re looking for
*
A valid HGV Class 2 / Category C driving licence.
*
A valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
*
A safe and responsible approach to driving and load security.
*
Good communication skills and a professional manner with customers.
*
Reliability, punctuality and the ability to work independently.
*
Experience delivering to construction sites would be an advantage
