Class 2 - Pallets

Driver Hire Gatwick are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our client in Crawley. This is a full-time job and can be a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate. You will be delivering pallets across the South of England. The Role * Delivering palletised freight across the South of England * You will be driving a curtainsider class 2 vehicle * Start times between 07:00-08:00 AM * Between 7-15 drops depending on distance * Conducting daily vehicle checks in line with Health & Safety requirements * Ensuring compliance with driver hours and road safety regulations * Safe loading and unloading of goods About You * Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence * CPC and Digital Tachograph card * Pallets experience needed * No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements: CD/IN/DR/TT) * Able to operate vehicles safely and responsibly * Comfortable ensuring loads are secure at all times * PPE required: Hi-Vis and Safety Boots * Own transport required to commute to and from the depot * Must comply with all on-site health and safety procedures Pay & Benefits * £18.00 per hour (Umbrella rate) * Weekly pay * Flexible working patterns to suit your availability * Work with a well-known and reputable logistics company * Temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate Apply Today 📞 Call Driver Hire Gatwick for an informal chat about the role.
