Forklift Driver - Warehouse Operative

Driver Hire Gatwick is currently recruiting for an experienced Forklift Driver to join our client based in Crawley. This is a full-time position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. You will be responsible for loading and unloading a variety of cargo using a forklift truck and other mechanical equipment, as well as performing manual handling where required. Key Duties: * Loading and unloading vehicles carrying mixed cargo * Operating a forklift truck safely and efficiently * Using additional mechanical handling equipment as required * Completing manual handling tasks when necessary * Ensuring loads are secure and handled safely * Complying with all Health & Safety and on-site procedures * Maintaining a clean and safe working environment To be successful in this role, you will need: * Valid Forklift Truck licence (Counterbalance or Reach depending on site requirements) * Previous experience loading/unloading vehicles * Ability to operate equipment safely and responsibly * Good understanding of manual handling procedures * High attention to safety and accuracy * PPE required: Hi‑Vis and Safety Boots * Own transport preferred for commuting to the depot Pay & Benefits * £14.50 per hour (PAYE) * Weekly pay * Friendly and supportive team environment * Opportunity to go temp to perm for the right candidate * Additional driving and warehouse roles available across West Sussex and Surrey Apply Today 📞 Call Driver Hire Gatwick for an informal chat about the role or to apply - (phone number removed).
