Aspired Talent are looking for a CNC Water Jet Machine Operator Location: Heywood Job Type: Permanent Salary: £31,000 – £34,000 per year (depending on experience) About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Water Jet Machine Operator to join our growing team based in Heywood. This is a permanent position for a skilled operator who has a strong understanding of precision cutting and maintains high standards of health and safety within a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor CNC water jet cutting machines. Interpret technical drawings and job specifications to produce high-quality components. Ensure materials are cut accurately and efficiently to required tolerances. Carry out routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment. Follow all company health and safety procedures and risk assessments. Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to meet deadlines. Requirements Minimum 2 years’ experience operating CNC water jet cutting machines. Strong understanding of health and safety procedures in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Good attention to detail and quality standards. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Desirable Experience with different materials such as metals, plastics, or composites. Previous experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
