Mechanical Field Service Engineer – Pump & Valve Specialist Full-Time Permanent £34k base, up to £50k with on-call & bonuses Meridian Business Support is a recruitment specialist acting on behalf of our client as an Employment Agency for this vacancy. We are looking for a hands-on field engineer with experience working on pumps, valves, and client-site systems. This is a fully mobile role across the UK (mainly Manchester, Birmingham, Cumbria), with occasional overnight stays. Key Requirements: Proven experience maintaining/repairing pumps, valves, pipework, and control systems on client sites. Familiar with submersible & end suction pumps, cold water boosters, water treatment systems, rainwater harvesting, and septic tanks. Ability to work independently, troubleshoot, and communicate effectively. UK full, clean driving licence essential.What’s on Offer: On-call rota (£60/week) and call-out rates can take total earnings up to £50k. Overnight travel covered (£15 per night + accommodation & meals).
