CNC OPERATOR Location: Bradford, commutable from Batley, Birstall, Leeds, Dewsbury, Huddersfield Hours: Monday to Wednesday 07:00 to 17:00 and Thursday 07:00 to 16:30, overtime Friday paid at time and a half Hourly Pay Rate: £16.97 Tenure: 18 weeks temp to perm About the CNC OPERATOR Role We are looking for a reliable and detail focused CNC OPERATOR to join our machining team, working on a Hurco VM20i 3 axis machining centre with a Hurco control panel. This is a production focused role involving loading, unloading, basic checks, and running pre written programmes. CNC OPERATOR Key Responsibilities * Operate the Hurco VM20i machining centre * Load and unload components safely and efficiently * Run existing CNC programmes and monitor cycle performance * Carry out basic quality checks using standard measuring tools * Maintain machine cleanliness and follow workshop safety procedures * Report any issues, deviations, or tooling concerns to the setter or supervisor * Support continuous production flow across varying batch sizes * Batch sizes vary depending on customer demand * Typical quantities range from 100 units up to 10,000 units * Tolerances fall within standard machining limits for the VM20i CNC OPERATOR Skills and Experience * Experience operating CNC milling machines (Hurco experience beneficial but not essential) * Ability to follow instructions and work to production targets * Good attention to detail and commitment to quality * Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious * A positive attitude and willingness to learn * Setting experience would be advantageous Press 'APPLY' now to be considered for this great CNC OPERATOR opportunity!
