Compliance Coordinator – Health and Safety

Job Title: Compliance Coordinator – Health and Safety Location: Redditch Salary: £29,000-£33,000 per annum dependent on experience Hours: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm HR Employment are recruiting for an experienced Compliance Coordinator, responsible for driving compliance across Health & Safety, Quality, and Facilities, while supporting Food Safety requirements (BRCGS Storage & Distribution experience desirable). The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping behaviours, leading investigations, challenging unsafe practices, and helping embed a culture of continuous improvement across the business. Reporting directly to the HR & Compliance Manager. Key Responsibilities: * Promote and embed a positive safety and compliance culture * Conduct thorough investigations into incidents, near-misses, and non-conformances * Support compliance across Health & Safety, Quality, and Facilities * Assist with Food Safety audits and BRCGS Storage & Distribution requirements * Work with managers and staff to improve ownership of compliance standards * Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives * Maintain accurate compliance records and complete associated administrative duties * Provide regular updates and reports to the HR & Compliance Manager Experience and Skills required: * Previous experience in a compliance-related role (essential) * Experience within a warehouse, logistics, or regulated environment (advantageous) * Experience in Food Safety or BRCGS (desirable but not essential) * Demonstrated ability to embed cultural and behavioural improvements * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and challenge constructively * Confident, proactive, and solutions-focused * Willingness to travel between sites within a 5-mile radius If you are interested in our Compliance Coordinator role, then please apply now
