Contract Mechanical Design Engineer

Role: Mechanical Design Engineer Location: Stratford-upon-Avon – Hybrid/Remote Contract Length: 3 Months + Start Date: ASAP Rate: £40.00 to £50.00 per hour – Outside IR35   We are currently seeking an experienced Contract Mechanical Design Engineer to support the development of high-quality engineered products used within a safety critical environment.   This role will focus on the design and development of High Pressure Die Cast (HPDC) components, working closely with a small cross-functional team to deliver robust, manufacturable designs.   Key Responsibilities Mechanical design and development of components and assemblies Design of High Pressure Die Cast (HPDC) products Producing detailed 3D models and technical drawings using Autodesk Inventor Ensuring designs meet relevant industry standards and compliance requirements Designing for hazardous area environments, considering certification requirements  Required Experience Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer Strong experience designing HPDC components Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor Experience working with hazardous area standards such as ATEX, IECEx, CEC, or NEC is highly desirable Strong understanding of manufacturability and engineering best practices  This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to technically challenging projects with a collaborative engineering team.   If you are interested, please apply with your CV or contact us for more details
