Domestic Gas Engineer
Job Title: Domestic Gas Engineer Location: North Essex & Colchester (Mobile Role) Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience and productivity) Company Van Provided The Role We are seeking an experienced Domestic Gas Engineer to join our growing team, covering North Essex and Colchester. This is a mobile role involving servicing, repairs, and installations within domestic properties. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining excellent customer service standards in occupied homes. Working Hours & Benefits * Working hours typically between 8:00am – 5:00pm (dependent on workload and time of year) * Overtime opportunities available * Monday to Friday only – no weekend work * Call-out rota of 1 in 4 Key Responsibilities * Servicing and repairing domestic gas boilers and heating systems * Boiler installations and system upgrades * Fault finding and diagnostics * Completing Landlord Gas Safety Certificates (CP12s) * Ensuring compliance with current Gas Safety regulations * Providing excellent customer service * Completing all relevant documentation electronically Requirements (Essential Qualifications & Experience) * Valid Gas Safe Registration * ACS Domestic Gas Qualifications * Proven experience in domestic servicing and repairs * Full UK Driving Licence * Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills * Ability to work independently in a mobile role What’s On Offer * Salary of £40,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience and productivity) * Company van provided * Fuel card * Company pension * Overtime opportunities * Uniform and tools provided * Ongoing training and development
