Electrical Day Shift Leader

Position: Electrical Day Shift Leader Location: City of London Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum + Overtime Hours: Continental Days Only Shift Pattern Contract: Permanent, Full-Time   An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Day Shift Leader to join the on-site team at a high-profile commercial facility in the City of London. This is a fantastic chance to step into a leadership role within a well-established site, offering strong training, progression, and long-term stability.   What you'll do: Lead the day-to-day engineering operations on site, ensuring all building services systems are maintained safely and efficiently. Carry out electrical planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive works across systems including lighting, power distribution, and associated plant. Perform fault finding, isolations, and small works across electrical systems. Supervise and support engineers on shift, ensuring high standards of work and compliance are met. Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in line with statutory regulations and health & safety requirements. Maintain accurate records and liaise with management and stakeholders regarding site performance and works. What you'll bring: City & Guilds / NVQ in Electrical Installations (essential). Proven experience within commercial building services or facilities maintenance. Previous experience in a supervisory or lead engineer role (desirable). Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Current or previous High Voltage (HV) experience/status (desirable). A proactive leadership approach with strong communication skills. Why Apply?
