Electrical Engineer - HVAP
Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Electrical Engineer - HVAP to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer - HVAP who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
As the Electrical Engineer - HVAP, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.
The Electrical Engineer - HVAP, will be responsible for:
* Lead and coordinate shift engineering operations within a critical environment
* Monitor and manage plant performance via BMS and CAFM systems
* Ensure all PPMs, reactive tasks, and statutory compliance activities are completed within SLA
* Manage HVAP responsibilities including isolations, permits to work, and safe systems of work
* Oversee incident management, escalations, and emergency response procedures
* Maintain accurate shift logs, technical reports, and operational documentation
* Supervise contractors and engineering teams to ensure safe and efficient delivery
* Support energy efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives
* Provide shift cover and operational support when required
To be successful for this Electrical Engineer - HVAP role you must have:
* NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
* 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations qualification.
* Previous experience in a critical environment/data centre/high-profile commercial site
* HV Authorised Person (HVAP) status essential
* Strong understanding of critical M&E systems, BMS, and CAFM platforms
* Experience leading engineering teams in a shift environment
* Excellent knowledge of health & safety and statutory compliance
* Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
