About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineering professional who is passionate about developing others.

Whether you are already working as an Assessor or looking to transition from industry into education, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact.

You will support apprentices throughout their journey, delivering high-quality coaching, assessment, and guidance to help them successfully complete their qualifications and progress in their careers.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver engaging training, coaching, and assessment to apprentices

* Conduct regular progress reviews with learners and employers

* Support apprentices in building portfolios and preparing for end-point assessment

* Monitor learner progress and drive timely achievement

* Work collaboratively with employers to ensure high-quality apprenticeship delivery

* Contribute to the development and improvement of training and assessment materials

What We’re Looking For

* Strong industry experience in Electrical Engineering

* Experience mentoring, coaching, or supporting apprentices/junior staff

* Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering (minimum)

* GCSE (or equivalent) Maths & English at Level 2

* Ability to travel across West Cumbria

* Strong communication, organisation, and IT skills

Desirable (Not Essential)

* Assessor qualification (TAQA/CAVA)

* Teaching qualification

* Experience within apprenticeship delivery
