Electrical Estimator – Doncaster, South Yorkshire Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 per annum (DOE) Employment Type: Full‑time, Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday (typically 8:30 am – 5:30 pm) Annual Leave: 20 days plus 8 bank holidays Overview We are recruiting an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a well‑established electrical contracting business based in Doncaster. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing competitive and accurate cost estimates for a range of electrical projects across commercial, industrial, and domestic sectors. Key Responsibilities * Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical works. * Analyse technical drawings, specifications, and project scopes to assess requirements. * Seek best value while maintaining high quality and profitability. * Collaborate with pre‑construction, design teams, and stakeholders to support project planning. * Attend site visits as required to assess works and refine estimates. * Plan and prioritise work to meet tender deadlines and exceed client expectations. Skills & Experience Required * Electrical industry experience is essential, with a strong understanding of installations and components. * Proven track record in preparing estimates within an estimating or commercial role. * Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately. * Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail. * Organised, proactive attitude and ability to work independently or within a team.
