Electrical Shift Engineer

Job Title: Electrical Shift Engineer (Days Only) Location: City of London Salary: £48,000 per annum + Overtime Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts | Days only | 7:00am – 7:00pm Overview: We are currently recruiting for a skilled Electrical Shift Engineer to join a high-profile commercial site in the City of London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking for a stable days-only shift role within a professional facilities maintenance environment. Working as part of an on-site engineering team, you will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of electrical systems and associated building services across the site. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems. * Fault finding and repair on building services equipment. * Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with site procedures and compliance standards. * Respond to engineering faults and breakdowns efficiently. * Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation. * Support general building services maintenance when required. * Work collaboratively with the wider engineering and facilities team. Requirements: * Recognised electrical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent). * Experience working in commercial building services or facilities maintenance environments. * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. * Knowledge of electrical systems, plant equipment, and building services. * Good communication skills and ability to work within a shift team.
