Job Title: Electrical Shift Engineer Location: City of London Salary: £53,000 per annum Shift Pattern: Continental Shift (Days & Nights, 7:00–7:00) Holiday: 20 Days Shift Annual Leave Benefits: 5% Pension Scheme | Training & Progression Electrical Shift Engineer – City of London – £53,000 We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join a high-profile commercial building in the City of London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established building services provider offering stability, ongoing training, and genuine career progression. Working on a continental shift pattern (7am–7pm / 7pm–7am), you will play a key role in maintaining critical building systems and ensuring the smooth operation of the site. Key Responsibilities: * Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance * Fault finding and troubleshooting on electrical systems * Maintenance of LV systems, switchgear, lighting, emergency lighting, and power distribution * Supporting critical systems and ensuring minimal downtime * Completing statutory compliance tasks and documentation * Liaising with subcontractors and site management * Ensuring all works are carried out in line with health & safety regulations Requirements: * City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential) * Experience working within commercial building services * Strong fault-finding abilities * Experience working on a shift pattern in a critical or commercial environment (desirable) * Good communication skills and a proactive approach Package & Benefits: * £53,000 per annum * Continental shift pattern (7–7, days & nights) * 20 days shift annual leave * 5% pension scheme * Ongoing training and development * Clear progression pathways within the business * Opportunity to work on a prestigious City of London contract If you are an experienced Electrical Engineer looking for a stable shift role with excellent career prospects, apply today to secure your next opportunity in the City of London
