Electrician (ECS Gold Card) – Cambridge Train Station Project

Location: Cambridge

Rate: £240 – £250 per day

Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm

Job Type: Contract / Long-term project

The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrician to join a major train station project in Cambridge.

This role is heavily focused on high-quality metal conduit and containment installations, working on a large-scale commercial infrastructure build.

You’ll need to be confident working to specification, reading drawings, and delivering clean, professional conduit installations to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Installation of metal conduit and containment systems

Electrical installations within a live rail infrastructure project

Reading and working from technical drawings

Ensuring all work is compliant with site and safety standards

Working independently and as part of a site team
Requirements

ECS Gold Card (essential)

Strong experience with metal conduit installations

Background in commercial / infrastructure projects

Confident working on large-scale sites (rail experience beneficial)

Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship

Reliable and able to work 8–4 shifts
