The Role
This is a mobile, community-based role where no two days are the same. You’ll be travelling across your region, meeting participants, employers and partner organisations in a variety of settings including community venues, health centres and workplaces.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Managing a caseload of individuals seeking employment
* Meeting participants regularly to understand their strengths, goals and barriers
* Creating personalised vocational profiles and action plans
* Supporting job searches, CV writing and interview preparation
* Providing ongoing, in-work support to help individuals sustain employment
* Building strong relationships with local employers to identify opportunities
* Promoting inclusive hiring practices and advising on workplace adjustments
* Working collaboratively with health services, local authorities and community partners
* Maintaining accurate records and tracking outcomes
Your focus will be on helping people move into work quickly, with the right support to succeed long-term.
The Ideal Candidate
You don’t need a clinical background, transferable skills and the right mindset are what matter most.
You’re likely to thrive in this role if you:
* Have experience supporting customers, clients or individuals in a caseload or target-driven environment
* Are a confident communicator who can build trust with a wide range of people
* Feel comfortable engaging with employers and external partners
* Are highly organised and able to manage a busy, varied workload
* Can work independently while contributing to a supportive team
* Have good IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
* Believe in people’s potential and are passionate about helping others succeed
Full training in the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model will be provided.
