We are currently recruiting on behalf of our valued client in Tamworth (B79) for a reliable and motivated Factory Operative to join their busy manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking stable employment, ongoing training, and the potential to secure a permanent contract following a successful probationary period.
Hours of Work:
* 06:00 to 16:30
* 4 days per week (Monday to Friday rotation) (No Weekends)
Pay Rate:
* £12.71 per hour
* £0.43 per hour pay increase after successful probation
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Loading and unloading machinery
* Machine minding
* Weighing stock and materials
* Moving stock and manual handling items up to 20kg
* Palletising products ready for shipment
* Labelling and managing goods-out processes
The Candidate:
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
* Reliable and dependable with excellent timekeeping
* Eager to learn and develop new skills
* Committed to maintaining high standards of attendance and performance
* Previous experience in a similar environment
* FLT Counterbalance Licence (Ideal but not essential)
A temporary-to-permanent opportunity is available for candidates who demonstrate strong work ethic and the ability to learn processes effectively.
