This business is known for delivering technically robust, commercially intelligent building performance solutions across residential, commercial, education and mixed-use developments. With a strong pipeline of work and continued growth plans, they are looking to strengthen their Building Physics capability. The Role You will play a key role in delivering building performance analysis and compliance modelling across a wide range of projects. This is a technically focused position, ideal for someone who enjoys using IES to influence real design decisions rather than simply ticking compliance boxes. Key Responsibilities * Deliver Part L compliance modelling using IES VE * Produce SAP/SBEM calculations and energy strategies * Undertake dynamic thermal modelling (TM52 / TM59 overheating assessments) * Support planning energy statements and sustainability reports * Work closely with M&E engineers and architects to optimise building performance * Contribute to embodied carbon / whole life carbon assessments (desirable) * Provide input into low-carbon system selection and fabric optimisation About You * Experience using IES VE for Part L compliance and thermal modelling * Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations (Part L, Part O etc.) * Background in Building Physics, Sustainability Engineering, or Environmental Design * Ability to interpret architectural and M&E drawings * Comfortable engaging with design teams and clients * Passionate about low-carbon design and performance-led engineering Why Join? * Progressive consultancy influencing sustainable design at early stages * Brighton office location with flexible working * Clear progression pathway into Senior / Associate level * Exposure to innovative low-energy and net-zero projects * Collaborative, non-corporate environment
