Head of Technical- Cyber Security Location: Dubai Marina (Fully office-based) Salary: 35,000 - 50,000 AED per month (depending on experience) About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Technical to lead and oversee the technical delivery function of a growing cyber security consultancy and technology firm. This is a senior leadership role responsible for technical operations, project delivery, and cyber security support, ensuring the highest standards of service across advisory-led and technology-driven engagements. You will manage a team of four cyber security professionals, oversee all support tickets, and take ownership of the end-to-end deployment of cyber security projects across clients in the SME and enterprise space. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the technical cyber security division, overseeing a team of four specialists Take full ownership of all cyber security support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and SLA adherence Oversee the deployment, implementation, and integration of cyber security solutions across client environments Manage end-to-end delivery of cyber security projects aligned to advisory-led roadmaps Act as the senior technical escalation point for complex incidents, implementations, and client issues Ensure consistent technical quality across Security Maturity, GRC, Data Privacy, and Technology solutions Maintain and improve operational processes, tooling, and documentation across the technical function Ensure technical delivery aligns with regional and global regulatory and compliance standards Identify emerging threats, technologies, and best practices to continuously evolve client protection Lead, mentor, and develop the technical team, identifying training and certification needsTechnical Scope Includes Cyber Security architecture and solution design Deployment and management of security technologies Incident response and support management Compliance-aligned implementations (GRC, risk management, data privacy) Managed services and ongoing cyber security operationsWhat We're Looking For Demonstrated cyber security leadership experience in a technical or delivery-focused role Proven experience managing a technical team or cyber security division Strong hands-on experience delivering cyber security projects and solutions Experience overseeing support operations and ticket management Relevant and current cyber security certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISO 27001, or equivalent) Strong understanding of cyber security frameworks, risk management, and compliance requirements Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on technical levels Excellent stakeholder communication skills, including client-facing engagement Must be currently based in Dubai Comfortable in a fully office-based roleWhat's on Offer Competitive salary of 35,000 - 50,000 AED per month Senior leadership role with full ownership of technical delivery Opportunity to shape and scale the cyber security function Work within a consultancy-led, technology-driven cyber security model Long-term growth potential within a fast-growing organisation Bonus (TBC) if company's KPIs are met
