Health Care Assistant
Are you a carer looking for additional work supporting vulnerable Adults? We are currently looking for Health Care Assistants to support clients in their homes Covering around 4 calls per day Morning Lunchtime Tea Night Responsibilities * Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as washing, dressing, and mobility support * Support the implementation of individualised care plans tailored to each person's needs * Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance quality of life * Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems * Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and family members to ensure seamless care delivery * Support with medication administration as per training and guidelines * Assist with light domestic tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment * Drive between different care locations if required, ensuring timely and reliable service delivery Experience * Previous experience working within a care home or home care environment is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided * Familiarity with developing and following care plans is desirable * Proficiency in using IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes * Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written * Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between sites or clients’ homes * Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and excellent interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with clients and colleagues Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Zero hours contract Work Location: In person
