Help Desk Support Analyst

Warrington (Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm)
£18 per hour
3-Month Contract (Potential Extension/Permanent Opportunity)

Overview

We’re recruiting for a Help Desk Support Analyst to join a busy on-site team in Warrington. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their IT career looking to gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment, with full training provided.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide first-line technical support to users (hardware/software issues)

* Respond to queries via phone, in person, or remote support

* Troubleshoot and resolve basic IT issues efficiently

* Install software and assist with remote hardware diagnostics

* Log and track incidents, resolutions, and system activity

* Escalate more complex issues where necessary

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

* Strong communication skills and confidence on the phone

* Basic IT knowledge (hardware, software, operating systems)

* Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail

* Ability to work independently and manage workload

Desirable:

* Previous help desk or customer support experience (1–2 years ideal)

* Facilities Management (FM) background is advantageous

* IT-related qualification or training
