Junior Project Manager – Highways / Infrastructure 6-Month Contract (Inside IR35) | Potential Permanent Opportunity We are currently looking for a Junior/Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of several highway and infrastructure schemes across the Bristol area. This role would suit someone with a background in civil engineering, highways, or electrical infrastructure who is looking to move into project management. Training and mentoring will be provided, making it a good opportunity to develop within a growing programme of work. You will be supporting the delivery of multiple projects within a live urban environment, working closely with contractors, consultants, and local authorities. Responsibilities * Supporting the delivery of infrastructure and highway schemes from design through to completion * Assisting with coordination of site activities and contractors * Working with consultants, contractors, and suppliers * Supporting programme tracking, cost control, and risk management * Liaising with highways authorities, utilities, and traffic management teams * Assisting with health & safety and CDM compliance * Providing progress updates to senior stakeholders Requirements * Background or education in civil engineering, infrastructure, or highways * Strong organisational and communication skills * Interest in developing a career in project management * Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously Desirable * Exposure to infrastructure or highway projects * Experience working with local authority schemes What’s on offer * Initial 6-month contract (Inside IR35) * Training and mentoring provided * Opportunity to work on major infrastructure projects in Bristol * Potential to move into a permanent position To apply: Click Apply now or contact Bam Recruitment on (phone number removed) for more information
