This vacancy is located in Burton on Trent, where we manufacture processing aids for the brewing industry.
Responsibilities as our Laboratory Technician:
Quality control of finished products, goods in and in-process materials
Performing internal quality and HACCP audits
Involvement in related activities e.g. QA, product development and customer support, including operation of small-scale brewing equipment
What do you need to become our Laboratory Technician?
Science degree (chemistry, microbiology or similar)
Microbiology qualification and/or experience in practical microbiology
One year’s lab experience in the food/drinks industry
Self-motivated, demonstrates initiative and works well in a team
Fluent in spoken and written English
Computer-literate including Microsoft Office and LIMS software
