Our client is an international organisation operating in the travel and transport sector. They are looking for a French speaking Logistics Specialist to join their London operations team. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will coordinate day-to-day logistics activities, support frontline teams, monitor service performance and help ensure the smooth delivery of operations.

This is a 35 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 (weekend rota included).

ROLE of the Logistics manager:

* Coordinating daily communications with operational teams regarding stock levels, equipment issues and service requests.

* Responding to queries from frontline crews and providing timely operational support.

* Monitoring train services and identifying potential operational disruptions.

* Inputting and maintaining operational data, including crew feedback, product shortages, recycling and wastage.

* Managing fresh food orders and validating premium service orders.

* Liaising with the Logistics Manager, Team Leads and wider operational teams to ensure effective communication of service updates.

* Working closely with colleagues to continuously improve operational processes and service delivery.

* Monitoring external events and operational disruptions, implementing contingency plans where required.

* Supporting the delivery of special events and charter services.

* Monitoring logistics performance data, including wastage, recycling and stock replenishment, taking appropriate action to maintain service levels and KPI performance.

PROFILE:

* Fluent in both English and French with strong communication skills.

* Dutch language skills would be an advantage.

* Previous experience in logistics, operations, supply chain or a fast-paced customer service environment.

* Strong IT skills and confidence working with operational systems and data.

* Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.

* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise and respond quickly to operational issues.

* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.

* Flexible and able to work shifts, including weekends on a rota basis.

* Proactive, organised and able to perform well under pressure.

* Circa £35 pa + 2k meal allowance
