M&E Quantity Surveyor / Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor 📍 Location: Central London (Oxford Circus) 💰 Salary: £60,000 - £90,000 depending on experience 🚗 Package: £6,000 car allowance + standard benefits 🏢 Working Pattern: 5 days per week on site or in the office An established main contractor delivering projects across Central London is looking to appoint an M&E Quantity Surveyor or Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile London projects, taking responsibility for the commercial management of mechanical and electrical packages from procurement through to final account. The company has a strong pipeline of work across Central London and offers the chance to join a stable and well-established commercial team delivering complex construction projects. They are open to candidates from either a main contractor or specialist M&E subcontractor background, provided you have strong commercial experience managing M&E packages. Key Responsibilities Commercial management of mechanical and electrical packages Supporting procurement and subcontractor appointment Managing subcontractor accounts and commercial performance Preparation and management of valuations, variations and change control Cost reporting and financial forecasting Working closely with project delivery, technical and design teams Monitoring project costs and ensuring budgets are maintained Supporting the project through to agreement of final accounts Ensuring commercial processes and reporting are maintained to a high standard Requirements Experience working as an M&E Quantity Surveyor or Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor Strong commercial experience managing mechanical and electrical packages Background working for either a main contractor or specialist M&E subcontractor Good understanding of procurement, variations, cost reporting and final accounts Strong communication skills and ability to work within a project team Experience delivering projects within London would be advantageous What's on Offer Salary between £60,000 - £90,000 depending on experience £6,000 car allowance Competitive benefits package Opportunity to work on high-profile Central London projects Long-term pipeline of work with a well-established contractor Next Steps If you are an M&E Quantity Surveyor or Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor looking for your next opportunity in Central London, please apply or get in touch to discuss the role in more detail
