Cover Supervisor (Mathematics Specialist) Location: Northamptonshire Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time (flexible options available) Start Date: ASAP / September Start Are you confident in Mathematics and passionate about supporting young people in their learning? We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and motivated Cover Supervisor with a specialism in Maths to join a welcoming secondary school in Northampton. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced cover staff looking to gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive and well-structured environment. The Role As a Cover Supervisor, you will: Deliver pre-set lessons in the absence of teaching staff, with a focus on Mathematics Ensure a positive and productive classroom environment Support students in understanding tasks and maintaining engagement Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and lesson outcomes While the role is not a teaching position, a strong understanding of Maths is essential to confidently support students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
