Multi Trade Plumber

Job Title: Multi-Trade Plumber Location: Brent (North West London) Sector: Social Housing – Reactive Maintenance Job Purpose To carry out plumbing and multi-trade maintenance works within occupied and void social housing properties, responding to reactive repair requests in a timely and professional manner. The role involves delivering high-quality workmanship while ensuring tenant satisfaction and compliance with health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Attend and complete reactive maintenance repairs across social housing propertie * Carry out a wide range of plumbing works, including: * Leak detection and repair * Tap, toilet, and shower repairs/replacements * Pipework installation and maintenance * Unblocking sinks, baths, and drainage systems * Perform multi-trade tasks such as: * Basic carpentry (door repairs, boxing-in) * Minor tiling and patch plastering * Basic painting and decorating after repairs * Diagnose faults and identify the most effective repair solutions * Accurately complete job reports using PDA/mobile systems Essential: * NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing (or proven experience) * Experience working in social housing or domestic maintenance * Strong multi-trade skills * Full UK driving licence * Ability to work independently and manage workload * Good communication and customer service skills Working Hours * Monday to Friday (typically 8:00am – 5:00pm) * Overtime and call-out rota may be required Salary & Benefits * Temp to perm opportunity * Company van and fuel card Key Skills & Attributes * Problem-solving mindset * Reliability and punctuality * Attention to detail * Ability to work under pressure * Strong tenant-focused attitude Call Carla or Kelsey at 18 Rec for more information
