The Opportunity

We're currently recruiting for an experienced Housing Officer to join a busy social housing provider on a 12-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a neighbourhood-focused housing professional who can hit the ground running and manage a varied patch with minimal supervision.

Working largely remotely, you'll be responsible for delivering a high-quality neighbourhood and tenancy management service, ensuring residents receive excellent customer service while maintaining sustainable communities.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage a designated neighbourhood patch.

* Deliver all aspects of tenancy management, including tenancy sign-ups, reviews and tenancy sustainment.

* Investigate and manage anti-social behaviour cases through to resolution.

* Undertake estate inspections and ensure neighbourhood standards are maintained.

* Deal with tenancy breaches and take appropriate enforcement action where required.

* Identify and support vulnerable residents, making referrals to relevant services.

* Work closely with internal teams and external agencies including local authorities and police.

* Respond to resident enquiries and complaints efficiently and professionally.

* Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with housing policies and procedures.

About You

To be considered, you must have:

* Proven experience working as a Housing Officer, Neighbourhood Officer, Tenancy Officer or similar within social housing.

* Experience managing ASB and tenancy-related cases.

* Strong knowledge of housing and tenancy management practices.

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

* The ability to manage a varied caseload independently.

* Experience working within a housing association, local authority or social housing provider.

* Availability to start at short notice or immediately.
