Operations Delivery Manager (Waste Implementation)
This role is based working on-site full-time for an initial period.
Role Purpose:
* Responsible for the co-ordination of multiple projects and assist with the implementation of those projects within Operations to support the waste service changes. Providing a clear sense of direction and optimism.
* Develop, monitor and review the scope of work, schedules and budgets to ensure the waste review changes are implemented.
* Ensure compliance with statutory duties e.g. Operator’s Licence Compliance and Health and Safety within the remit of the post are fully met.
* Provide effective communication and updates across waste services and all other relevant departments, including senior management on a day-to-day basis.
Experience and Qualifications
* A relevant degree/professional qualification.
* CoTC (Desirable)
* CPC (Desirable)
* Experience of delivering Operational services.
* Experience of working knowledge of waste, vehicles and logistics.
* Experience of project management and process development.
* Experience of corporate working and management in a comparable organisation.
* Experience of delivering innovative and effective waste and transport initiatives
* Post-holder may also be required to undertake further training, both in-house and externally based.
