We are seeking an experienced Paint shop Supervisor to join our client’s established manufacturing team, taking responsibility for the day-to-day running and performance of a busy powder coating paint shop. You will be responsible for managing the paint shop, supervising agency staff, and leading production activities and ensuring quality and efficiency.

Job Description

Oversee the day-to-day running of the powder coating paint shop.
Plan and organise workloads, ensuring permanent and temporary staff, materials and equipment are used effectively.
Ensure production schedules are met, keeping work moving and minimising downtime and waste.
Monitor production performance and take action where targets are not being met.
Work closely with other production departments, Planning and Quality teams to ensure work flows smoothly through the factory, reviewing staffing levels where needed to meet production demands.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Previous experience working within a powder coating or industrial paint shop environment
Experience supervising or leading a team within a manufacturing environment
