Panel Wirer

Our client, a well known manufacturer is looking to appoint a Panel Wirer to join their busy manufacturing team. We are looking for someone who can confidently read electrical drawings and produce accurate, high-quality work in a fast-paced production environment.

You will assemble and wire electrical control panels to engineering specifications, working closely with the production team to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics.
Assembling and wiring control panels, including mounting components, routing cables and terminating connections.
Cutting, stripping, crimping and labelling wires accurately.
Checking completed work against drawings and identifying wiring discrepancies.
Reporting component shortages or technical issues promptly.
Maintaining a clean, organised workspace and following health and safety procedures.
What we are looking for

Previous experience in panel wiring or a similar electrical assembly role.
The ability to read and work independently from electrical drawings.
Confidence using hand tools, crimping tools and electrical assembly equipment.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
The ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
A reliable, flexible approach and good communication skills.
A relevant electrical qualification would be advantageous, although practical experience is equally valued
