PE Teacher Location: Southwark, SE15 Contract: Long-term/Permanent Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience) Start Date: September 2026 Commutable From: Lambeth, Lewisham, Greenwich, Camberwell, Peckham The Opportunity: Long Term Futures are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in the Southwark area from September 2026. You will deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping students develop confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong appreciation for health and fitness. The school has a strong sporting culture and encourages participation in extracurricular activities and school competitions. Your Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3 & KS4 Promote physical wellbeing, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles Organise and support extracurricular sports clubs and school fixtures Assess and monitor pupil progress in line with department expectations Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed learning environmentRequirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Degree in Physical Education or a related subject Experience teaching PE in a UK secondary school Strong classroom and behaviour management skills Passion for sport, physical activity, and student developmentWhy Long Term Futures?
