Primary SEND Teaching Assistant - ASD & Communication Support**

Aspire People are seeking a **SEND Teaching Assistant** with experience supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or speech and language needs. This is a rewarding role for candidates who enjoy tailoring support to meet individual communication and learning requirements.

**The Role:**
* Supporting pupils with ASD and communication difficulties within a primary classroom
* Assisting with structured learning activities, social skills development, and routines
* Providing small-group or occasional 1:1 support to reinforce learning
* Encouraging interaction, independence, and confidence
* Supporting teachers in delivering the curriculum in an accessible way
* Monitoring progress and contributing to individual education plans (IEPs)

**The Ideal Candidate:**
* Experience working with pupils with ASD or speech and language needs
* Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Understanding of sensory needs and strategies for inclusion
