Year 5 Teacher – Full-Time Position in Openshaw Start Date: After the Easter break Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm Teaching Personnel is delighted to support a warm and welcoming primary school in Openshaw that is looking for an enthusiastic teacher to join their team this April. This is an excellent opportunity for a Year 5 teacher who is passionate about inspiring pupils and helping them prepare for the transition into upper Key Stage 2. Your Role Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 curriculum Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies where needed Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere Work collaboratively with colleagues and school leadership Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development What We’re Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 5 preferred) Strong understanding of the national curriculum Excellent classroom management and organisational skills Ability to differentiate learning for diverse needs Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Why Work with Teaching Personnel?
