Production Operative/Welder

Here at Contek we are working with a client who specialise in steel reinforcement, fabrication, engineering products and the supply of construction-related accessories. This is a full-time on-site role for a Production Operative/Welder based in Oldbury. The role includes performing various tasks such as manual handling, labouring and welding - ensuring the quality assembly of materials for production. Additional responsibilities include operating tools and machinery, maintaining a safe and organised work environment, and collaborating with team members to meet production deadlines efficiently. Qualifications Proficiency in MIG/MAG Welding Preferred but not essential Prior experience in a production or fabrication environment is a plus Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Commitment to maintaining safety standards in the workplace Strong teamwork and communication skills Willingness to adapt and learn new skill Hours - Monday - Thursday, 7.30am - 3.30pm, 2.30pm finish on Fridays
