Project Manager - Sizewell C (Permanent) Salary: Up to £75,000 + Car Allowance Project Value: £10m Location: Sizewell C, Suffolk - IP16 4EW Specialist Civil Engineering Contractor The Opportunity A leading specialist civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a £10m package of works on the landmark Sizewell C nuclear new-build project. This is a permanent opportunity to play a key part in one of the UK's highest-profile infrastructure schemes, delivering complex civil engineering works within a major tiered environment. The Role As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the planning, management, and delivery of a dedicated package of works. You will oversee all technical, commercial, and operational elements, ensuring exceptional standards of safety, quality, and programme performance. You will be accountable for: Managing the full project lifecycle from mobilisation to handover Leading teams, subcontractors, and supply chain partners Overseeing contract and package management, ensuring compliance and cost control Client management, progress meetings, and representing the contractor at all levels Ensuring programme adherence, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies Managing documentation, reporting, and all project governance requirements About You We are looking for a Project Manager with a strong civil engineering background, ideally with experience in: Major civils, highways, or heavy infrastructure Drainage, earthworks, structures, reinforced concrete, or similar technical packages Delivering projects £5m+ in value Managing clients, contracts, packages, and on‑site operational teams You must be someone who can handle both the technical and delivery aspects of the role-comfortable working with drawings, specifications, engineering details, and equally confident leading teams and client discussions
