Project Quantity Surveyor

Job Title: Project Quantity Surveyor Location: Central London Salary: Up to £65,000 per year + package Job Type: Permanent About the Role We are seeking a degree-qualified Project Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established contractor based near London Bridge. The successful candidate will work across a diverse portfolio of cladding projects as well as the education, healthcare, and commercial sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Quantity Surveyor looking to take ownership of projects and manage the commercial aspects from start to completion while working within a supportive and professional team. Key Responsibilities * Manage the commercial aspects of cladding projects from pre-construction through to final account. * Prepare and manage cost plans, valuations, variations, and final accounts. * Ensure projects are delivered within budget and in line with contractual requirements. * Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery. * Monitor project costs and identify opportunities for value engineering. * Support project delivery teams with commercial guidance and reporting. * Maintain strong documentation and reporting standards. Skills, Attributes & Qualifications * Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline. * Good supervision and organisational skills. * Ability to commercially manage all aspects of a project. * Ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team. * Strong knowledge of construction practices and standards. * Excellent writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately. * Strong decision-making skills and ability to handle challenging situations. * Awareness of when to seek guidance and support. * Excellent time management and task prioritisation skills.
